If I think of a place that could represent myself and my photography, it is certainly the plain of Campo Imperatore in the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga. A place that is watching me growing up as a man and photographer for ten years, and today I consider as my second home.
A landscape made of ample spaces and views, surrounded by some of the highest peaks of the central Apennines, our small Tibet in Abruzzo. There are countless adventures spent on this plain and the high mountain trails, with friends and in solitary.
From the silent and windy winter where the blizzard is always a dangerous unknown, to the quiet autumn and spring sunsets, and the beautiful long summer hiking; to be part of Campo Imperatore is always a pleasure.

Se penso ad un luogo che possa rappresentare me e la mia fotografia, è di certo la Piana di Campo Imperatore nel Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga. Un luogo che nel tempo mi ha visto crescere come uomo e fotografo e che oggi considero come una mia seconda casa, frequentandolo ormai da quasi dieci anni.
Un paesaggio fatto di ampi e spazi e vedute, circondato da alcune delle montagne più alte dell’Appennino centrale, il nostro piccolo Tibet Abruzzese.
Sono innumerevoli le avventure trascorse insieme ad amici ed in solitaria sulla piana e sui sentieri di alta montagna.
Dal silenzioso e ventoso inverno dove la bufera di neve è sempre un incognita rischiosa, ad i calmi tramonti autunnali e primaverili ed alle lunghe e belle escursioni estive, immergersi nella natura di Campo Imperatore è sempre un piacere.
